Wells Fargo

May'23 - July'23

In the summer of 2023, I interned at Wells Fargo in Hyderabad and worked on enhancing liquidity forecasts using RNN and denoising cheques with Computer Vision. The experience was surreal and it gave me a wonderful oppurtunity to network and learn from seasoned software engineers. Skills: Machine Learning, Computer Vision.

I am currently working as an undergraduate researcher under Dr. Pawan Kumar Singh at Jadavpur University where my work focuses on developing Deep Learning-based Biomedical Image Classification models. Title: "A Deep Feature Ensemble Methodology for 2D Biomedical Image Classification"

We analyzed and preprocessed biomedical images for deep learning, customized architectures for classification, and developed an ensemble methodology with ~80% accuracy. This work contributed to a research paper accepted for the 6th International Conference on Computational Intelligence in Pattern Recognition (CIPR-2024)

Publication

Title: "Attention-based Deep Neural Networks for 2D Biomedical Image Classification"

We developed an attention-based model for organ classification within the MedMNIST v2 framework, achieving accuracies of significant accuracies. This work led to a research paper submitted to the MDPI Journal, showcasing the model's effectiveness in biomedical image classification. It is currrently under review.

Publication

Title: "A Lightweight Attention-Based Convolutional Neural Network for Classification of 3D Biomedical Images"

We developed a 3D medical image pipeline with an attention-enhanced 3D-CNN architecture for optimized spatial feature processing. The proposed model surpassed benchmark metrics. This work resulted in a research paper accepted as a book chapter for "Swarm Optimization for Biomedical Application" at CRCPress: Taylor & Francis in Florida, USA.

Travel ✈️

I am a wanderlust nut. Exploring new places and interacting with different individuals really calms me and causes me to feel euphoric. You can almost always count me in for camping trips, treks, or anything. :)

Music 🎵

Music transports me to another world. Talk trash when I'm on headphones, & I don't give a shit since I'm on to something more peculiar;). Imagine Dragons, Ed Sheeran and Lewis Capaldi are incredible!!!

Gaming 🎮

I've been interested in video games since I was a child. I've tried it all: PlayStation, Xbox, Oculus and what not. Gaming evenings are always a hit with me! ;)
